If you’re familiar with performance air filter systems, then it’s no secret that K&N is a proven product that delivers performance without compromising on quality. Their Performance Intake System has been designed, engineered, and tested to allow the factory turbocharge to inhale a larger abundance of air when compared to the factory air intake system.
The result is an increase in horsepower, torque, throttle response, and faster spool. This air intake system comes with a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter, and it comes with a heat shield that will install in the factory airbox provisions. Air is fed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the turbo inlet for a noticeable power gain. This tube will accommodate the factory mass air sensor and EVAP vent line.
The filter itself is serviceable, and can go 100,000 miles before servicing is needed depending on the driving conditions. Installation requires hand tools, and takes about 90 minutes.
