Steamspeed's FA20 turbocharger application is in full production, and ready to deliver. These turbochargers have been designed with custom housings to support larger compressor and turbine wheels when compared to OEM units, which will result in a 20-30% power bump over the stock turbocharger capabilities.
The FA20 turbochargers will fit in the stock location, and are a direct replacement for the OEM turbo. These turbochargers will work with all aftermarket parts that will work with the OEM turbo. This means for those with "stage 2" upgrades, the Steamspeed 67+ will bolt right up to modifications such as a J-pipe, intake, or intercooler.
The STX 67+ will share the same center section as the STX 67+ designed for STI models which is known to make 350-400WHP on pump gas, or well over 400 WHP on E85. The STX 67+ version has the same compressor wheel as the STX 67, but will come with the larger turbine of the STX 71. With that said it is recommended for owners with built blocks or higher flowing motors to run the STX67+, because it is more capable of providing more top-end power and top-end flow when compared tp the STX 67. The STX 67+ will make a lot more power and torque when compared to the OEM turbocharger on all areas on the power curve.
Steamspeed supplies all of the accessories needed to complete the install right out of the box, so you don't have to outsource gaskets, and miscellaneous components.
